Abstract
Objective: The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of balance training for improving the stability of ankle joint to the ankle joint patients.

Method: We performed the balance training for five patients who have ankle instability for three times per week during four weeks. After the training, we measured ankle Range of Motion (Dorsi-flexion, Plantar-flexion, Inversion, Eversion), static balance(Romberg test), dynamic balance(Star excusion balance test)before and after training.

Results: After 4weeks of experimentation, the balance training showed more significant differences(p<.05) in Romberg test and Star exclusion balance test. But Range of motion has not been changed.

Conclusion: Balance training is expected to improve ability of static and dynamic balance to the ankle joint patients.
